Why local gyms are wide open for AI ad agencies

Adapted from a thread on XView on X

Local gyms are wide open for AI ad agencies.

The research

I had my Grok Bot team rank 36 gyms and studios in Palm Beach County for my ad agency.

Then it checked Meta's Ad Library for the top 10. None of them were running Meta ads.

What each piece does

  • Agency Lead. The bot that owns the agency. It drafted the offer: 4 short vertical videos a month, a lead page with Meta Pixel, and Meta ads run in the gym's own ad account.
  • Research. Public web only. Owners, Instagram, latest post, video style, ad status. Every row says where it came from.
  • Outreach. The first email is written and offers a free sample ad. It hasn't been sent. Nothing goes out until I say yes.
Tool map titled "My Grok Bots built a local ad agency before the first client": fitness studios first, Palm Beach County, Meta ads. A file tree shows the Agency Lead with a Local Lead Package (4 vertical videos a month, 1 lead page with Meta Pixel, Meta ads in the studio's own account, a monthly report), research (36 gyms and studios ranked, Meta Ad Library check of the top 10), outreach (first email draft, not sent) and a gate where every send needs Miles's yes. A box lists the rules: bots research and draft, I approve every send, the gym pays Meta, I never hold their budget, no spend change without their OK, no guaranteed results, no made-up numbers.

The split

The split I'd use: bots for research and drafts, the gym pays Meta directly, and a human on every send.
