Running my semester with a bot team

Agents, School

Adapted from a thread on XView on X

This feels like cheating.

My Grok Bot team runs my college semester and only bothers me when it needs a yes.

The morning shift

  • 07:00, coursework planner. Reads Canvas (planner, announcements, modules, inbox) weekday mornings.
  • School email agent. Sorts school mail, flags what needs me on request.
  • Task manager. The only bot allowed to write my task list.

The clever part

Nothing lands on my list until I say yes.

When Canvas and my professor disagree on a due date, it flags both and asks instead of guessing.

Sundays

Sundays it runs a grade review: this week vs last week, proposals only.

The rules

The rules are attached. The full setup is in the article on X.

Grok Bot for Students rules sheet. Goal: run my semester like a small team; bots read Canvas and my school inbox, propose tasks and wait for my yes. Crew: Coursework Planner at 07:00, School Email Agent on weekday mornings, and a Task Manager that is the only writer of my task list. Rules: one writer per system, needs-me goes to Primary Bot, never mark anything Done for me, school first. Conflicts: if Canvas and the professor disagree on a date, flag both and ask. Study: build the lesson and flashcard deck for each task. Weekly: Sunday grade review, proposals only. Blocked: if the Canvas login expires, stop and ask.
